Stockyards

We stayed at the Stockyard Hotel to get the full Stockyard experience. 

Our hotel actually had a real key that they gave us. When was the last time you got a real key instead of a card? Anyway the hotel room was pretty authentic. 

We had to get up at 3 am to fly into Forth Worth. We were so hungry when we got to our hotel so we walked across the street to the Love Shack.

Jeff ordered the Love Burger and we thought it was a great lunch spot.

Then we walked around Exchange Street.

They let us walk into the Colosseum which was neat because it was completely empty.

Every day at 11:30 am and 4pm they have a cattle drive. This is the street our hotel is on! 

For dinner we decided to try Tex-Mex since we were in Texas and walked to Joe T Garcia's for dinner. We sat inside but we wished we would have sat outdoors after talking to our waiter. He said after dinner to walk around the gardens they have because it holds 1,200 people. It looked amazing!

We only stayed one night in the Stockyards but it was the perfect amount of time to walk around and check everything out before heading to our next adventure.
