Last Day of Vacation

Finally made it to our last day of vacation & we slept in! We needed it :) We stopped at the cute Manhattan Beach for a lemonade and to see the ocean one last time. 

We tried the Old Fashioned and Pineapple Coriander Lemonade. Both were delicious!

After the beach we headed to the Citadel Outlets. I was thrilled to be able to meet my cousin Amy for lunch. 

After lunch we headed to Hollywood for the Jimmy Kimmel show. We got upgraded to priority seats, so we got to sit in the 4th row. It was for the pregame show before the NBA finals, so it was only 30 minutes. We did get to see Steve Carrell and Kristen Wig! 

I made sure to record the show to catch if they did any audience shots. We made it on TV for about 2 seconds. Here is a screen shot ----->

Hollywood

On Tuesday we hiked above the Hollywood sign in the morning. It wasn't that hard and totally worth the views.

After the hike we drove to a spot where we could take a picture of the 'Hollywood sign' in the background.

Our hotel was conveniently located next to In-N-Out so we had lunch there. It was as good as I remembered back in AZ. 

Our whole trip started with tickets to the Tom Petty show. We got in line around 5pm and got in the venue at 7pm and the show started at 9pm. Needless to say, it was a lot of waiting- but worth it! It was general admission and no seats so we decided to go more towards the side where it was elevated off the ground a couple feet. I am so glad we did because we had a great view and weren't in the tight crowd where I wouldn't have been able to see anything.
