Lindsey's Bridal Shower

A weekend ago, I attended a baby shower for one of my teammates back in college. It was so nice because a lot of the girls on the golf team were there who I haven't seen in awhile.

Bailey, the hostess, who was also on the golf team did such a nice job planning the party. She thought of every little detail and her house was gorgeous!

PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

 A week ago today I went to Whistling Straights with Jeff and my dad to watch some golf!

It was HOT out, but there was a nice breeze that came through in the afternoon which helped.  Jeff followed Phil Mickelson the whole round, while my dad and I camped out on a few holes to watch many golfers play through. 

It was a nice day off.

The good news is that even though it's almost October it still felt like summer  this weekend! Friday I was able to get out of the office and play in a golf scramble with co-workers. I even got longest drive :) 

I then met up with my girlfriends at Comedy Cafe in Milwaukee at night for some drinks + laughs.

Weekend Bits.

The last time I went golfing was back in November.  Jeff and I decided to brave the cold and go out the first time this spring. We only played 9 holes, but I was so glad I had my hand warmers and headband hidden in my bag.  The best part of the whole round was playing with a bright neon yellow ball.

Weekend

This past weekend we golfed at Hawks Landing in Verona. We got a crackin' fall rate for 18 holes, so it was fun to play and look at all the houses!!!

BIRTHDAY BOY

Jeff turned 26 yesterday!  I love when birthdays fall on weekends. He got his first pair of golf shoes EVER and of course we did some golfing. It sure did feel like fall outside!

Golfing AGAIN

 Jeff and I went golfing at Deer Valley last weekend. We had a 2-for-1 coupon so it cost us $28 total for both of us to walk 18 holes. They looked at us crazy that we weren't taking a cart (since there is lots of elevation changes), but the cart would have cost us more than the golf ($36!).  I know it has been awhile since I have walked 18 holes, but I wanted to see if I could still do it- and yes I survived! I am proud of myself I still have it in me.

Where did June go??

I can't believe June is almost over. Summer always just skips on by, especially in the working world.  What happened to summer breaks? I am excited to jump into July this weekend, and get ready for my favorite holiday. Jeff and I had a busy weekend in Madison. We happened to run into Maureen and Dave on Friday night. We were eating outside Chiptole and they were eating at the restaurant next door and saw us. We chatted for a bit and caught up. 


Jeff & I then headed over to the Union to get some ice cream and we walked all the way to the Monona Terrace. 

                                                                                                                                                               We were about to leave when we saw a guy walking with a girl blindfolded. I wanted to see what was going          on so we stayed a few more minutes to watch and it happened to be a proposal. Of course, I had my camera, so I was able to snap a few blurry pictures. Neat!

On Saturday, Jeff and I golfed at Pleasant View. We played in the afternoon and had the course to ourselves..the heat didnt stop us! 

Then Saturday night, we ventured the crowd and went to Rhythm and Booms!

Golf and a Lost Club

If you remember last October Jeff and I golfed at SentryWorld. Well, that was the last time we golfed for the season. With this spring-like weather, we went and played at SentryWorld for the first time since that day in October. On the first hole, Jeff realized he didn't have his pitching wedge. What are the chances that the pro shop had his club??! After our round, we checked the car trunk and no luck.. it wasn't there. So we went back to the pro shop and they let us come in their shed and we walked all the way to the back and there was a big bin labeled "LOST CLUBS 2011" and probably 30 clubs inside..and there was his pitching wedge. That made his day!

golf girls reunited

Well hello!
I am safely back in AZ but I miss home already.
Glad Jeff is back here- otherwise I would be very lonely.

On Saturday I met up the golf girls. I hadn't seen them since Feb/March. We planned this day way in advance so everyone could make it. Even the snowy roads didn't stop us.
