Portland Part II

Day 2 started early with a drive to Canon Beach. The town is cute and has a picturesque landscape.

We had lunch at this quaint eatery. his & hers pizza --->

We then headed over to Astoria. Jeff was very eager to see the Mergler-Astoria bridge. Did you know it is the original bridge to nowhere. Also at it's highest point, it's 196 feet above water! 

Once in Astoria, we walked up to the column. 164 steps later we got to the top!


In the evening we went to Noble Rot for dinner and an incredible view & sunset from their rooftop. The mac & cheese was delicious!

We decided to wake up early on Monday for a little adventure before our flight to California. First stop was Multnomah Falls. Such a beautiful area.

 Last stop was Crown Point Vista House.
