Portland Part I

Hello! I am back from vacation. I have so many pictures to share of our time in Portland & California so I will split them up in a couple different posts. Jeff and I had never visited the city, but we were very excited to check it out. With a few blogger suggestions and a little google research we had a pretty packed 2-day itinerary. As soon as we landed we were told that the Rose Parade was going on. Of course it had to go past our hotel, so needless to say it was a little hectic trying to get downtown.  However we managed to find parking on the street a few blocks away & catch a glimpse of the parade plus tried the food carts for lunch.

We stopped at the infamous Powell's bookstore. The store is 3 stories & ginormous.

We went to the lobby at the Ace Hotel and took pictures in the photobooth and drank Stumptown coffee. 

 We decided to take advantage of the warm weather and visit the Rose Test Garden in Washington Park.

We had dinner at Tasty n Sons - scrumptious food + great ambiance. We sat at those chairs behind the black screen and it was so nice & relaxing!
