NEW YORK DAY 3

Day three was such a full day! Jeff & I tried to accomplish a lot. We started the morning going to the World Trade Center Memorial. We saw the North and South Tower Memorial. The way the water falls..goodness it gives me chills
We worked {walked} up an appetite and decided to walk across the iconic Brookyln Bridge and go to the original Grimaldi's. The views from the bridge are remarkable!  We had been there on our last trip to NYC so we were quite surprised to see they changed locations! They moved next door and we were very curious on why. Jeff looked it up online later and it's a long story about how the owner sold the location, but then regretted it, so reclaimed his old spot, but changed the name.. Confusing, right. You can read more about it here
The High Line is incredible and a must see if you visit lower Manhattan. It is an old railway that was recreated into an above ground park! It is a beautiful place to stroll on a pretty day.

When we left the High Line we headed to the famous Magnolia Bakery (featured on Sex & the City) We split a Key Lime Pie Cheesecake.

We went to a delicious restaurant for dinner, called Max Brenner. We were so full from dinner we didn't try any desserts (they are known for their chocolate!) We did stop at the gift shop on our way out and tried a free sample. I am kicking myself I didn't buy myself a bag now. It was soo good!

Afterwards we headed for "Top of the Rock" (the top of the Rockefeller center)  Anyone who visits NYC should add it to their list!

It was so cool to see the city at night. Jeff took some panoramic and got some good photos.
Brrr! It was chilly-bo-nilly up there.

 Stick around for Part IV
