ATLANTA PART I

Wednesday was a travel day. We had a fantastic dinner at Tin Lizzy's. By far my favorite meal of the ENTIRE trip. They have great margaritas, and have the most amazing chips ever. They are sprinkled with "crack" seasoning. YUM!!!!!

The next day we woke up early to get downtown to hit the CNN headquarters, World of Coke, and the Georgia Aquarium. We were going to be tourists for a day :)

Fun Fact: The escalator we took to start the tour is the world's LONGEST escalator in the world.
Being able to see where news anchors walked and roamed in the building was very interesting. Seeing the actual newsroom where news is reported and gathered was even more fascinating!
Next up is World of Coke. The exhibits are fun, and there's plenty of freedom to explore at your own pace.
At the end you can sample coke products from all over the world in the tasting room!
After we walked next door to the Georgia Aquarium. It is the largest aquarium in the world and really, really cool...so many fishy! We were able to catch the dolphin show too.
We were lucky it wasn't that crowded inside. We were able to get up close to every single exhibit with no problem at all. I don't think there was a single time that I felt unable to see what I wanted to see!
The most memorable part of the aquarium was probably the whale sharks swimming around & seeing them swim around you.. that was pretty incredible. Their size and length is ridiculously huge and scary.

Another post in Atlanta coming soon.
