CROSBY'S FIRST CHRISTMAS

So hard to believe that Christmas has come & gone, so much anticipation & feels like it is gone in the blink of an eye. So happy to have videos & pictures that captured it all!

On Christmas Eve, we packed up the car and drove down to Waukesha and stopped at my grandma's apartment. Since we weren't going to see her at all on Christmas Day, we wanted to make sure to stop and say hi. It was nice to visit for a little bit before heading to Mukwonago.
The original plan was to go to 4pm mass, but Crosby was getting a bit fussy so we skipped church. I think that was the right decision, because he was much more pleasant the rest of the night once he got settled in. Our tradition has been to have appetizers on Christmas Eve at my parent's house & spend the night.
This was the first time Crosby has slept somewhere else and he did great! He woke up around 6 am and we started opening presents right away.
We got dressed, took pictures, had breakfast, packed up the car and then headed back to Madison. We were hoping Crosby would nap on the 1.5 hour car ride back, but of course he didn't. He was surprisingly in a good mood, so we headed over to the farm to see Jeff's side.
4 generation picture above! I think I heard there were about 50ish people at the farm. Wow!

At the end of the night, we still hadn't opened up our gifts. This sums up perfectly our tired little boy. What a day we had!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas full of magic & memories! I hope you have the happiest holidays with the ones you love!!
