MONTREAL

Hello! We have completed our Canadian adventure! We went to Montreal, Quebec City, Mont Tremblant, and swung through Ottawa on our last day.

One of the first stops after we landed was walking up Mount Royal because it was sunny outside and we knew it would be the best day of the whole trip. The rest of the trip was cold and rainy, but it didn't bother us too much. The view was incredible!
We stayed at the William Gray and can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. It was by far our favorite hotel of the whole trip. We found out Lady Gaga stayed here so you know it is nice!
It was also the perfect location, you walked outside and literally these were the streets.
We explored Old Montreal for awhile and then had dinner outside (crazy to think we ate outside on our first night when by the last night of vacation it was almost snowing!). The fries were out of this world!
The next morning we got up early and started exploring more of Montreal.
We randomly walked down a street that was filming some sort of scene.  Jeff snuck a picture before they yelled at us. We tried to google what it was, but we couldn't find anything. We walked by a few hours later and they were cleaning up and we noticed "Augusta Courthouse" was just a sign they put up, so if you ever see that in a movie or TV let me know!
We also stumbled upon McGill University in the middle of downtown which felt like we were walking through Harry Potter. The students were even playing quidditch.
One of the highlights was seeing Notre-Dame Basilica.  It was stunning and it's even more breathtaking in person. Fun Fact Celine Dion got married here!

We were so exhausted by the end of the day and were hungry. We happened to see a restaurant right across from the street from our hotel and it ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! Jeff loved his pizza and I ordered the Pomodoro E Basilico which was so delicious.

The next morning we got coffee at the cutest Starbucks in Le Plateau
and then started our trek to Quebec City. Before heading out of town, we stopped by Olympic Stadium.
Wouldn't it be fun to take a swim class in here?!
Next step is Quebec City.
