MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

How can the long weekend be over already?!

Jeff & I took the train to Chicago on Saturday morning. I have never seen so many people at Millennium Park- it was absolutely crazy and we lasted about 15 minutes before we decided it was not worth it since we have been there many times before.
We went to Portillos's for dinner because my co-worker from Illinois always talks about this place. I heard that they are opening one in Brookfield. We both got a hot dog & next time I want to try a salad- they looked amazing.
We also tried the chocolate cake shake, but we didn't really love it.

We then headed to the Riviera to see Mudcrutch. If you follow the blog, you know Jeff is a big Tom Petty fan.
I had to snap a picture of our bathroom hotel- how cute! Jeff scored a major deal on Hotwire when we decided these plans last minute. Our hotel was super nice and right on Michigan Ave.
The next day we headed out of Chicago right away in the morning and stopped at Topgolf in Naperville. We went to Topgolf in Texas and wanted to go again. This time we brought our on clubs.
We had a fantastic time at Topgolf.

Hope you have a great week ahead!
