The Flat Iron Story

I bought my hair straightener back in 2006 or 2007 (all the way back in the dorms) from one my bridesmaid's. Lindesy's mom worked for a company that sold high quality hair products and supplies. My roommate at the time Maureen & I both bought the one below.

I have been using it ever since until this week when it finally died. It lasted me SEVEN years!!! I loved it and am sad to part with it. My hair stylist Angie picked up a new one for me & lucky I saw her last Friday. Perfect timing, right?  I am hoping that it will work just as well as my old one. Time will tell!

  1. Hi!!! :) Can't wait to see the results! The best straightener often depends on your hair type. But as a rule of thumb, get a straightener with pure plates, never coated ones. Also get the ones with an adjustable heat setting so you don't damage your hair. In general, ceramic plates are the best for all hair types, but if your hair is frizzy then get a tourmaline ceramic or if your hair is thick and tough then get a titanium ceramic flat iron. I got the ones from Karmin. They're the best and I've been using them like forever. They cost less but work just as good as GHD and last longer than Chi. They work really fast and make your hair really shiny! By the way, I just love your new flat iron's color! <3
