ATLANTA PART III

Our flight didn't leave till 7pm so we decided to go to Stone Mountain on our way out of Atlanta. Jeff really was looking forward to see it & it didn't disappoint! We hiked it up and then took the gondola ride down.

This huge property features the large mountain, carved to memorialize three Confederate War heroes, President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee, and General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. They are each riding their most beloved horses. Can you believe it measures larger than a football field! 

One more look at Atlanta from the airport!  Apples2Peaches was a successful trip!! The end.
