2011 Glitter and Glow Block Party

We hung out there for maybe an hour, along with half of Phoenix judging by the parking situation. They had free shuttles at Glendale Community College so we parked there and saw the huge line (2 hour wait we heard!). We decided we would drive past the event and luckily we saw a space on a side-street a few blocks out of town, and we squeezed into it effortlessly. Then we walked around downtown checking out loads of hot air balloons, bands on almost every street corner, movies playing, and the general fun-fair atmosphere. I don't think I will ever go back but I really want to go for a hot-air balloon ride now.
