a little taste of Argentina..

If anyone knows me, they would know I have a extreme dislike for going in front of the class and talking. So when I found out I had to do a 3-5 minute presentation on business communications of the country Argentina, I nearly fainted..
Let me take you through my ordeal.
It all started last weekend when I went to MN and had a whole lot of trouble finding "dulce le leche" cookies. Easier said than done. After finding bars and then having to cut them all up I realized I needed a power point as well.
Since I have the 03 version and all the classrooms have 07 version, this girl was at the library at 7:30 am (when the library opened) to make sure my powerpoint worked and print out my report since last night at around 11:55 pm I found out I have no ink in my printer. My speech was at 9:30 am this morning.
It's all over and I got an A.
This girl is happy.

Hoping all your hearts are giggling w/ glee today as well! It is Friday!

This morning I got up and had breakfast at the UC.
Went back to my apartment and waited around because they were supposed to come and start my kitchen today but that never happened.
Went and worked out.
Yoga. (which I really needed)
had shrimp alfredo for late lunch.
now on my way to the gymnastics meet to support my girls!
sat and sun are going to be in-my-apartment-all-day-doing-homework sort of days.
really tried to not do anything with all the snow so need to catch up.

RIP Butch

I got a call from Brett my golf coach this morning telling me that Butch, our assistant golf coach, didn't wake up from his sleep this morning. Brett had just talked to him last night and we were going to get together this Tuesday and talk about our spring break trip which Butch was going to take us on.



But we trust… and believe… and grieve with hope. We miss you every day and will never forget you. Until we meet again…

Today was a long day (didnt have dinner till 9:45 pm) BUT I did get to go to a picutre frame painting event for a couple of hours and hang out with Sharon.

Lets hope for a snow day tomorrow kids! 16 inches is supposed to come.
Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday too- I need to figure out what to give up for Lent.

Weekend is almost over!
Friday night I had a girls night sleepover with the work girls. Lots and lots of fun :)


Saturday I worked on scholarships and went out to Texas Roadhouse with the family and Amah. She had never been there before.

Today went to church, walmart, made a cake, homework mixed in there. and off to a superbowl party!

Over Christmas break we had our pictures taken for the church directory. After our first appointment was cancelled due to the snow storm we were still able to reschedule in time before I left for school.. They came in the mail the other day. Check*us*out!
